Estate Administration

Estate administration is billed based on complexity. Smaller, straightforward estates are quoted at a flat minimum of $2,500 + HST, which covers the full scope of work from inventory to distribution.

Larger or more complex estates — those involving multiple properties, business interests, or disputed claims — are billed at 1.5% of the estate value, whichever amount is greater.

A detailed scope of work is provided after the initial consultation, so you understand exactly what’s involved and what it will cost before any work begins.

Contract Review & Drafting

From $350–$800 + HST

The fee depends on the length and complexity of the contract. A short agreement reviewed for key risks sits at the lower end of the range.

Drafting a contract from scratch, or reviewing complex multi-party agreements with detailed obligations, will be toward the higher end. The scope is confirmed after the initial consultation.

All reviews include a plain-language summary of what the contract means in practice — not just what it says, but what it means for you. One round of revisions is included in every engagement.

Demand Letters
